“As a follow up to my previous review they sent me an email on July 25th that they would contact me to see if there was anything they could do to make things right. Here on August 4th and have heard nothing from them. Very poor service and follow up.”

“Very disappointed. Had service call for my furnace. 1st visit they recommended replacement of a sensor. Replaced it but didn't solve the problem. 2 more times technicians were called out and couldn't determine the cause for it not to work. They recommended that the control board be replaced for $680 but would not guarantee it would solve the problem. I called and talked to a man there and after explaining the issue stated that was their recommended repair. Told him that was not acceptable and requested they return the money I paid them. Got a very rude response. Ended up replacing my whole system by a different company. Would not recommend this company for any work.”

“Sadly, I am looking for a new company to contract with, for my twice a year service. I have been with Seasonal Comfort for 25+ years. They were always a fair, honest, trustworthy company. All things change, and the change came to Seasonal Comfort when the business was sold. Triad Heating and Cooling now owns Seasonal Comfort.

Cliff and Gerald no longer own or run the company. It makes me sad to leave, as one of two service technicians have serviced and or installed my systems for the entire time. I recently had a simple issue, that caused my system to fail. A run capacitor failed, and the compressor was not kicking in.

The issue first showed in May, as the capacitor was starting to fail. My wife called seasonal comfort, and they came to find the system operating as expected. About a month later, the capacitor finally quit. When it failed most recently, it was a weekend after hours call. The price quoted for the repair was well over $700.00, on top of the after hours service call fee, which used to be the same as a business hour fee if you had a service contract. My bill was going to be in the range of $1000.00 to install a $25.00 capacitor.

This is so sad, and so representative of where things in this nation are headed. Where has honesty, integrity, and fairness gone in business? I paid the service fee, and refused the exuberant fee quoted for the repair. I truly hate that the foundation of trust and integrity, built by the company founders, has now been eroded by greed.”

Response from Seasonal Comfort Heating and Cooling

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We completely understand that after-hours pricing can seem higher than service pricing during our normal business hours. Our after-hours rates reflect the availability of our highly trained technicians, who are on call outside of regular business hours to assist customers when unexpected emergencies arise. These technicians bring years of experience, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing the same high-quality service our customers expect—regardless of the time of day.

“Found a problem overlooked by another company two years ago. Not a place with a lot of fanfare or arm waving. Just solid people who keep their word and do good work.”

- Matthew M.

“My first contact was perfect as they fit me into the schedule that same day I called. I remembered that and called a second time I needed a repair couple years later. Again same day with work completed. Highly recommend Seasonal Comfort!”
